Over the last few months the rainbow has become symbolic with hope and unity, both supporting the NHS and indeed each other!

Donning the windows of many homes all across the UK, children and adults alike have put up rainbows in a show of solidarity. It also reminds us that here will be better days to come.

Ironically, as the UK went into lockdown, Vanity Hall was about to launch its extensive range of new and bright finishes. With many new and colourful finishes to choose from, along with our bespoke painting service, which allows you to customise your bathroom furniture in whatever colour you choose, we really can offer you every colour of the rainbow!

Red bathroom furniture…

Whilst not many people would opt to have red bathroom furniture, there is a definite trend emerging for pink bathrooms!

The most popular shades range from our latest finish Baby Pink to rose gold tones.

Hot pinks like fuchsia are the perfect accent colour with deep greys such as Graphite Gloss, adding a feminine touch.

Orange bathroom furniture…

At first thought, orange might seem like a very unlikely colour choice for a bathroom! With so many different shades of orange, the more sophisticated ones such as copper or coral are going to look the classiest in a bathroom.

And, much like pink, it might be better to stick to units in a more versatile finish like our fabulous Corian® clad units and accessorise with orange, so that it’s easier to update when you want to!

Yellow bathroom furniture…

Guaranteed to wake you up in the morning, yellow is a vibrant choice for any bathroom!

It’s best to err towards the canary yellow shades rather the more citrus tones of lemon… These warmer shades of yellow work better in interiors.

Green bathroom furniture…

Most people think of green shades as being the deeper colours of plants, grass and trees. In reality, greens can incorporate aqua too!

These tones, along with subtle green shades are perfect and a very popular choice in a bathroom, as they are sure to feel energizing and inviting each morning!

Blue bathroom furniture…

Unlike green, most blue tones suit a bathroom.

Sronger blues such as vibrant Lagoon Blue Gloss look fabulous in a bathroom, especially when teamed with white metro styled tiles.

Equally as eye-catching is pretty Powder Blue. It’s one of our most popular painted shades, and it’s easy to see why!

Indigo bathroom furniture…

Furniture painted in shades such as Sapphire Blue can look sensational in bathrooms.

On period styled units team it with crisp white sanitaryware and a freestanding bath to complement. Then choose bursts of metalics such as brushed gold for glamorous touches.

Violet bathroom furniture…

Purple shades are best left as an accent colour in a bathroom. It’s a tone that can date very quickly! Shades such as heather and violet are the perfect partners with ecru and cream…. They allow you to easily update your accessories in line with your changing tastes.

So, whether you’d like your bathroom furniture painted in any one of our many finishes, or in a multitude of rainbow colours, look no further than Vanity Hall for your new bathroom.
